Caveman diet is another term used for the paleo diet, and the caveman diet meal plan consists ofpaleo foods. This typically includes the foods which our ancestors used to eat in the caveman era. The diet back then consisted of mainly hunted animals and gathered plants, berries and fruits.

The basic principles of the caveman diet are very simple. It is primarily focused on consumption of high quantities of natural, unprocessed food items which cavemen could eat thousands of years ago. Caveman Diet Meal Plan:

Here is a sample caveman diet meal plan which you can follow or take help from in order to design your own caveman diet meal plan.


  • Day 1 – Monday
    • Start your day with eggs and vegetables
    • In Lunch take salad with portion of your favorite protein (for example, steak, chicken)
    • Eat slices of apple with some almond butter
    • In dinner eat taco pie


  • Day 2 – Tuesday
    • In breakfasteat eggs and a piece of fruit
    • In lunch eat some burgers (without bun), friend in butter. Enjoy with vegetables.
    • Eat a can of tuna as snack between lunch and dinner
    • In dinner eat salmon, with vegetables.


  • Day 3 – Wednesday
    • In breakfast eat some vegetables
    • Make a sandwich in lettuce leaf. Put some fresh vegetables and meat in it
    • Eat hard boiled eggs as snack
    • In dinner eat some tasty steak


  • Day 4 – Thursday
    • Begin your day with some fruits and nuts.
    • In lunch have chicken salad with some olive oil
    • Eat slices of apple with some almond butter
    • In dinner eat baked salmon with vegetables


  • Day 5 – Friday
    • Start your day with eggs with steak
    • In lunch eat cold cut meat and vegetables
    • Eat avocado as snack between lunch and dinner
    • In dinner eat grilled chicken wings, with vegetables


  • Day 6 – Saturday
    • In breakfast eat sweet potatoes hash browns and eggs
    • In lunch eat sandwich made of slices of bell pepper instead of the bread
    • Eat an apple as snack between lunch and dinner
    • Make Chicken fingers and enjoy in dinner


  • Day 7 – Sunday
    • In breakfast eat vegetables, eggs and meat scramble
    • In Lunch eat the leftovers of dinner from previous day
    • Between lunch and dinner eat almonds as snack
    • In dinner eat veggie and meat stir fry
